What Is Golf Inventory

Golf Inventory extends the OSS Scanner into a managed platform product. It discovers every MCP server across your fleet, deduplicates them, runs 35+ security checks, and gives your security team a centralized dashboard with risk scores, governance classification, and remediation workflows. The core loop:
  1. Admin creates an enrollment key in the Golf UI
  2. IT deploys the Golf Inventory agent to employee machines via MDM
  3. Agent scans all IDE configurations every 15 minutes
  4. Reports are submitted to the platform API (privacy-first: config contents never leave the machine)
  5. Platform deduplicates servers using identity computation
  6. Platform runs 35+ automated security checks
  7. Results appear in the Inventory dashboard with risk scores and governance classification
  8. Admins triage findings via the Remediation Queue
